Proof you can click

Every incubator says it builds companies. Ours are open in a browser tab.

The usual proof an incubator offers is a wall of logos and a valuation. Both are claims about the past, made by the party with the most to gain from them being believed, and neither can be checked by the person being asked to believe.

We had the same problem in a harder form. franlab is new, so there is no track record to point at even if pointing at one were the honest thing to do.

What we have instead is five businesses we built, running now, at addresses anyone can type into a browser. That is a weaker claim than a return figure and a much stronger one than a logo: it does not tell you what franlab earned, it tells you what franlab can build — and it lets you check the answer yourself in about four minutes.

We would rather be judged on the thing we can show than trusted on the thing we cannot. When we do have operating numbers worth publishing, we will publish those too — with their source and their date attached, and checkable in the same way.

Send it when
it is ready.

We read applications all year round. There is no batch to wait for and no deadline to miss.

Applications open year-round

You cannot open physical stores in batches. Every unit needs its own lease, build-out and team — so we take ventures on one at a time, and start each one when it is ready.

We answer every submission ourselves, usually inside two weeks.
