The categories we want to build next
Sixteen categories, in two groups. This is not a list of brands we are chasing — it is the shape of business we know how to help, described in the same words the marketplace uses.
Why this list exists
Same words on both sides of the corridor.
These are the categories FRANWORLD lists brands under. We use the same set on purpose: a concept described here is described the same way when it reaches the marketplace, so nothing has to be re-explained, re-tagged or re-argued along the way.
The test is the same in every category
A stranger has to be able to replicate it. The system has to be AI-native from the first unit, not bolted on at unit fifty. And the margin has to survive being run by someone who is not the founder. The category only changes what that looks like in practice.

F&B
Quick Service
A menu narrow enough that the kitchen runs itself, where forecasting, prep and ordering are decided by the system rather than by whoever opened that morning.
Fast Casual
Counter ordering with food worth sitting down for, where the queue, the kitchen and the staff roster are all reading the same live demand signal.
Casual Dining
A dining room a stranger can run on a Tuesday, where table turn, waste and staffing are managed by the system, not by a manager's instinct.
Fine Dining
Rare, but not impossible: a room where the craft stays human and everything behind it — booking, sourcing, costing — runs itself well enough to be invisible.
Kiosk and Truck
The smallest unit that can still carry a whole system. If the entire operating model fits in three square metres, it replicates faster than anything else on this page.
Beverages and Drinks
Speed of service is the product. Recipe consistency, stock and peak-hour staffing all have to be settled before the peak, not during it.
Desserts & Sweets
Production and shopfront sit in the same set of accounts. Shelf life is unforgiving, so demand forecasting is the business itself, not a feature bolted onto it.
Services & Retail
Retail
Inventory is the operator's biggest risk. We want a model where what to stock, at what price, in that specific location, is answered by the system.
B2B & B2C Services
No storefront to hide behind. The system has to schedule the work, price the job and hold the quality standard across people it will never meet.
Fitness & Sports
Membership churn is the whole margin. The model has to notice a member drifting away before they cancel, not after.
Education & Training
Learning outcomes have to survive being taught by an ordinary teacher, in an ordinary branch, on an ordinary day.
Children's
Trust is the product and the rules are strict. Safety, adult-to-child ratios and parent communication have to be enforced by the system, never by memory.
Tourism & Travel
Demand swings hard and it swings locally. The model has to reprice and restaff faster than the season turns.
Health & Beauty
Repeat visits, attached to a named person. The system has to keep the client coming back even after the practitioner who served them last time has left.
Fashion
Buying decisions made months ahead, in a market that changes weekly. We want a model where the guess is made by data, not by taste.
Low-Cost
The lowest entry cost that still carries a real system. If a first-time operator can open it and still be running in year three, it belongs here.
Outside the list
We read every application, including the ones that fit none of these. A category we have not listed is not a category we have ruled out — it is one we have not yet been shown a reason to build. Send it anyway and tell us why it belongs.
